Constantly patrols all parts of all machinery and checks for quality defects on section and makes overhauls, repairs, or adjustments as needed.

May be required to run a set of looms at times when we are short a weaver due to vacations, sickness, etc.
Assist weaver as needed in repairing stops and creeling fill yarn.

Our die cast parts are used in automobiles, motorcycles, generators, snow mobiles, lawn mowers, washing machines, power hand tools, BBQ grills, commercial lighting and many other well-known products. The Cambridge Division is one of Pace's longest-running facilities. Founded in 1945, Cambridge has been providing contract manufacturing die casting worldwide for more than 65 years. A 300,000-square-foot facility provides a large environment for expert manufacturing services.
Keep the holding furnaces on the die cast machines full of proper alloy of metal and at proper temperatures. This process, called hauling metal, must be done in a safe, efficient, and timely manner as to keep production running always while minimizing costly mistakes such as overfilling furnaces, overfilling ladles, spilling metal, letting furnaces run too low on metal, mixing alloys, etc. Must safely and efficiently support the production requirements and assure the proper alloy is provided for the parts being cast.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Keep transfer (bull) ladles, furnace, and die cast holdings properly cleaned and/or heated.
Keep scrap hoppers emptied and identified.
Keep alloys separated. This applies to all metal including those stored, in any furnace, or in scrap form.
Keep all areas cleaned including but not limited to melt rooms, work areas, tools/supplies and properly stored. Daily chipping, cleaning, fluxing, and skimming of breakdown furnaces. This also includes Striko Holding Furnaces. (clean, fill funnels, and pouring spouts. Coat as needed).

Charge metal to breakdown furnaces in such a way as to keep them full of the proper alloy metal and at the proper temperatures. Metal is charged in form of sows, ingots, castings, and ingredients.

Run spectrometer including cleaning, profile, standardization, and routine analysis.
Properly handle paperwork, sampling, and barcoding of all incoming metal/materials.
Capable and willing to work overtime.
Work in a safe manner and report unsafe conditions/hazards immediately. Wear required personal protective equipment.
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to read and understand written directives. The predominate forms of instructions are written, visual, and verbal.
Properly handle all department paperwork including labor cards, production sheets, check sheets, metal hauling sheets, barcodes, audit logs, furnace cleaning sheets, scrap cards, flux/dross cards, etc.
Forklift certification required.
This is a physically demanding position requiring moderately heavy lifting and working in a hot environment.
Must follow and understand all safety rules and policies as set forth by OSHA guidelines.

Review scope of work and formulate cost estimate for internal and external group content with help from quotation teams and suppliers
Lead the tendering team to develop the customer proposal that meets or exceeds the customer's requirements
Work with the tendering and execution teams to develop the estimated timeline an execution plan for the project
Drive "lessons learned" regarding the tender and contract management processes
Finance and contracts knowledge and experience recommended
Sales, project negotiation, or customer management experience recommended
Technical experience in power, IT or monitoring/control in a data center environment is a plus
Five to ten years of relevant experience is recommended

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for assisting the Diver from preparation to completion of the dive, including any in-water decompression required.
Essential job duties include:
Support, comply with, and participate in HSE Program
Participate in JSEA's
Assist the diver in dressing and undressing
Confirm that the diver's equipment is functioning properly
Set up and operate all equipment as directed by the Supervisor or his designee
Be alert for and immediately report conditions that may be hazardous or unsafe
Perform routine maintenance on diving equipment
Repair only equipment for which he is qualified
Assist in topside work as required or directed
Assist the LST and tend to the divers in the saturation system
Successfully complete all safety tests administered prior to performing tests in the shop or out in the field
Work in the shop when not offshore to gain hands-on experience with equipment
On an as-needed basis, an EPIC Tender, Diver/Tender or Diver may be required to perform in the following capacities:
1.Rigger – Heavy Lift – work under the general supervision of the Barge Foreman and/or Barge Superintendent. The Rigger also works with Supervisors, Crane Operators, and other crew members to perform general labor work in all aspects of Barge operations.
2.OP&A Rigger – may work under the general supervision of the OP&A Supervisor. May also work with the OP&A Operator and other crew members to perform general labor work in all aspects of OP&A operations.
Support and participate in the organization's Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001 requirements by complying with Quality Policies and Procedures and meeting Quality Objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of a Commercial Diving Program as set forth by the Association of Diving

EXPOSURE TO WEATHER - Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by the weather.
NOISE - Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds or a pitch or level sufficient to cause marked distraction or possible hearing loss.
VIBRATION - Exposure to a shaking object or surface. This factor is rated important when vibration causes a strain on the body or extremities.
