Neurologist Needed For Group Practice Kansas City, MO
Our Neurology Practice in Kansas City, MO is seeking a BC/BE general Neurologist, NeuroHospitalist, or a generalist with a subspecialty in Neuro-oncology to join our employed group. This group sees a lot of Stroke patient, so qualified applicants should also be able to cover call for Stroke patients.
The practice is currently comprised of 4 full time physicians who provide services at Research Medical Center. The group also does outreach to Research Belton and Cass Medical Center. Call coverage would be 1 week per month and every 5th weekend.
The practice is located on the campus of HCA's Research Medical Center, 2008 recipient of the Triple Crown Award. Recently, HCA has made a significant commitment to the funding and creation of a new Neuroscience Institute on the campus of Research Medical Center with the goal of developing a recognized regional center for neurological sciences.
Additionally, Research is a certified stroke center and the practice sees 50-60 stroke patients per month. The group also has 2 dedicated EMGs that allow a high volume of procedures. EMGs are also done in the outreach locations.
