Correct completion of all job-specific, employee related NRC paper work including Timesheets, Daily Work Reports, Driver’s Logs and Daily Tailgate Safety Meeting Forms.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and carrying (up to 50 pounds); use of hand tools, power tools, bending, stooping, shoveling and other physically demanding tasks on a daily basis.
Ability to be use/operate basic construction tools, small electric pumps, large fuel powered pumps, plate compactors, trenchers, truck scales, etc.,.
Ability to load/ unload drums, cylinders, equipment from and into vans, flatbeds, trailers.
Ability to perform confined space work inside tanks of varying dimensions; involving squatting and crawling for possible extended periods.
Ability to assist in retrieval or cleanup of impacted materials.
Ability to follow directions; read/speak and understand English; read and understand common danger placards / labels and hazardous warning literature including site safety plans.
The ability to safely drive and perform safety checks on all vehicles for which licensed.
Must be able to understand and comply with company and client safety standards.
Ability to perform work under sustained hours, uncomfortable weather conditions and rough terrain.
Must be clean shaven at all times to allow immediate use of respirators as required by work zone air monitoring.

The Sr Process Engineer and the team reporting to them is primarily responsible for overseeing the development of processing instructions for plant operations and their introduction to the manufacturing environment. They and their team are ultimately responsible for project start up, process optimization and process troubleshooting. The individual must have previous experience carrying out activities in a batch, fine chemical environment with a proven track record in technology transfer from the laboratory to the plant and after initial introduction be able to lead efforts in reducing cycle times, improving quality, improving batch yields, and reducing overall manufacturing costs.
The successful candidate will have experience gathering information and interacting with Sr. Management, Research and Development, Marketing, Safety, and QC/QA and then interpreting and organizing the information to insure a successful project outcome. Also responsible for continuously monitoring and developing cost reduction/technical improvement options for existing processes to improve plant performance and maintain product viability.
The Sr. Process Engineer should also be able to carry out projects in the plant with maintenance and contract personnel. This includes specifying equipment, piping, and controls and developing plans to install, startup, and operate new manufacturing equipment.
Batch, Fine or Specialty Chemical Manufacturing background
cGMP experience preferred but not crucial
Minimum 5yrs manufacturing experience and a BS in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
Tech Transfer skills (laboratory to plant, process troubleshooting and process optimization)
Excellent communication skills.
Proven Leadership skills
Working knowledge of glass lined and rotating process equipment.
