What We Look For...
We are in search of a smart, friendly, customer service oriented night auditor who will help build lasting relationships with guests encouraging them to come back. Night auditors are not only responsible for covering front office positions/responsibilities but this team member also audits accounts and prepares final reports for management.
The Key Responsibilities:
Meet and exceed guest and team member expectations by providing Legendary Service and team work.
Demonstrate correct procedures when greeting guests, checking them in and out, serving taxi requests, and/or directing traffic flow in front of the hotel.
Use proper sequence of service techniques when checking guests in and out, bell, concierge and ensure that you always point out hotel amenities as well as invite the guest to stay with us again.
Be knowledgeable of Front Desk computer and cashier systems, including room rates and types of accommodations.
Check in guests, ensuring they are properly accommodated.
Ensure that complete and accurate information is documented on guest records, and that payment methods by guests are correct.
Post all guest charges and payments to guest, banquet, master, and house accounts, ensuring such postings and payments are correct.
Verifies that all charges to guest accounts made during the day are correct, and posts room charges for that day so that all guest accounts are current and in balance by 6:00 a.m. the following morning.
Completes all credit card transmittals, direct bills, and no show billings for the day.
Prepares all daily, monthly and yearly reports required by the property.
Acts as manager on duty in the absence of the General Manager.

Job Overview
Provide friendly, efficient and hospitable service at the front desk. Provide efficient and friendly check in and check out service. Run the night audit process through the PMS system.
Essential Functions
Provide exceptional guest service in a positive and clear speaking voice, listen attentively to understand requests
Verify and swipe credit cards for authorization using electronic acceptance methods
Handle cash, make change and balance an assigned house bank
Post charges to guest rooms and/or house accounts as needed
Retrieve messages, mail and facsimiles for guests as requested
Research and perform revenue audit function
Upon completion of audit, input information into general ledger system
File paid invoices in night audit packs
Research and respond to charge inquiries on a timely basis
Send copies of guest folios on a timely basis via fax or mail
File registration cards in suite number order
Notify guests of incoming faxes using the message function on the computer
Qualifications
High school graduate
One year Accounting experience
Fluency in job related English, both verbal and non-verbal
Provide legible communication and directions
Compute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers)

STARTING RATE: $11.68
Basic Function
Provides exceptional service to all guests and potential guests by assisting them in a friendly, efficient, courteous and professional manner. perform all Front Desk related functions including but not limited to checking guests in / out, promoting sales related programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling, etc. Responsible for auditing the previous day’s receipts to verify and balance entries, runs reports and verifies accuracy of information.
May also assist with set up of Breakfast. May include food preparation, set up, service and / or cleaning. Only team member on property for the majority of the work shift and must be willing to and have the ability to work alone. Responsible for guest safety and security during overnight hours.
General Knowledge, Skill and Ability
Requires ability to take written and verbal direction and speak English clearly and read English. Requires ability to relate to the public in a warm, friendly manner in providing a hospitable environment. Requires ability to give attention to detail and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.
Requires thorough knowledge of Drury Hotels policies and procedures, for guest services. Requires ability to handle money, make change and utilize office machines in the normal day-to-day activities.
Must be willing to and have the ability to work alone as scheduled. At some locations, may be the only team member on property during work shift.
Mental and Physical Requirements
AGE: Must be at least 18 years of age.
EDUCATION: Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school.
EXPERIENCE: Experience in working with the public in a service industry or in related activities is preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Requires ability to walk and stand during entire working period of 8 hours; requires ability to lift 10 - 15 pounds.
