Interstate Restoration is a national emergency response restoration and general contractor specializing in the return of compromised property to their pre-loss condition. We work with our clients to restore their properties. Our team restores commercial, multifamily, hospitality, educational properties from water damages, flood, fire, smoke and natural disasters.
This position is a key member of the Accounting Team at Interstate Restoration. The position works within our Accounts Receivable team of five to six team members in our Corporate office in Fort Worth, Texas to support our operations across the country. Candidates with Timberline / Sage 300 is strongly preferred as well as experience in the construction or like-type industry.
Accurate and timely billings to customers under the direction of the company's project directors and senior management
Prepare payment applications in connection with contracts, such as AIA Document G702 and G703
Filing preliminary notices for jobs according to the state requirements where the job is located
Completing a weekly lien review on all open jobs to identify lien rights expiring in 20 days; communicate this information to all senior management and project directors
Compile monthly AR credits report including research
Assist customers and employees in researching transactions and answering their questions
Setup new customers in our system and in their portals

Summary of Responsibilities:
The Insurance Representative (I) will be responsible for handling Insurance claims for repair, total loss or gap from inception to completion. The associate will be responsible for following Fair Debt Collection Practices Act as well as policies and procedures.
Reviews and monitors all total loss, repair or gap claims on a daily basis.
Assists insurance adjusters with requests, questions and problems regarding any pending claim settlements.
