The Professional Security Officer is the heart of Allied Universal Services. Our officers allow us to accomplish our company's core purpose which is "to serve, secure and care for the people and businesses in our communities". The Professional Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. Our security officers act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions; they detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the site. Although essential activities may differ based on the facility at which they work, below are some of the standards:
Ensure the facility is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property
Report safety concerns, security breaches and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing
Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both client employees and guests
Answer questions and assist guests and employees
Answer phones or greet guests / employees in a professional, welcoming manner
Physical and Mental Functions:
Stand or walk constantly (for up to an entire shift) on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet)
Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various duties
Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
Run as needed
Constant use of both hands and arms in reaching/handling/grasping/fingering while using phone, notepad, writing reports, and other administrative tasks
Constant use of eyes (correctable vision to normal level required) to observe, read, interact with public and co-workers, view security monitors; includes hand/eye coordination

Qualified applicants for the Professional Security Officer position will meet the minimum requirements, as described below:
High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 18 years of age
Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting; may require computer skills
Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
Must be able to obtain a valid Guard License as required in the state for which you are applying

I. Job Summary
Residential Drivers operate heavy-duty trucks and are responsible for the collection of residential household waste or recyclable material. Driver will transport the material to a disposal, transfer or recycle facility when trucks reach legal load capacity. Driver safely maneuvers vehicle in residential environments. Navigates high traffic and congested roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following tasks.
Operates vehicle in accordance with Waste Management Safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws.
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report). .
Immediately reports all unsafe situations or service related issues to Route Manager or Dispatch.
Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings as required by Waste Management or directed by the Route Manager.
Works closely with Route Manager to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.
Notifies Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.
Notifies Route Manager or Dispatch of service interruptions including closed or impassable streets or alleyways, receptacles too heavy to service or potential safety hazards.
Communicates customer requests to Dispatch or Route Manager.
Completely dumps all receptacles and leaves the customer's location clean and free of debris.
Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation and check out process.
Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch and assisting other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.

CURRENTLY SEEKING EXPERIENCED FINISHERS who have a worked in a CNC job shop or machining facility. Also accepting candidates with solid mechanical aptitude who are willing to learn. This position is for 2nd shift beginning at 4:20pm (2nd Shift receives 10% shift differential premium).

Overview of Position:
Operates precision grinding machines to assemble products and product parts to established blueprint and engineering specifications consistent with job specifications and quality standards. Selects, mounts, attaches and calibrates a variety of attachments, grinding machines to grind angles, contours, lines, spheres, etc. on to surfaces.
Description of Duties/Responsibilities:
Prior to beginning work, inspects equipment to assure that it is in safe operating condition and that any required preventative maintenance checks have been completed.
Performs routine maintenance as required.
Reads and interprets blueprints and work orders to insure that specifications and tolerances are met.
Develops and applies knowledge of specified finishes and the proper operating sequence of grinding steps to obtain desired results.
Obtains material, parts and tools as needed to complete job.
Sets up, adjusts and operates equipment in a safe, efficient and accurate manner to produce required parts.
Grinds welds, deburrs rough metal, produces various finishes on metal.
Works to reduce scrap and improve quality.
Checks work to make sure it meets specifications and tolerances.
Accurately completes all required paperwork, including recording labor data.
May be assigned to other tasks as needed to meet work load demands.
Keep Supervisor advised of any quality problems, concerns, delays, etc.
Advise Supervisor of any maintenance work. Maintain an orderly and safe work environment.

Process forgings up to approximately 20" I.D.
High School diploma or (equivalent) preferred but is not required. Experience in industrial or heavy manufacturing preferred.
Chip/Hand Grinder 1St Shift
Perform hand-grinding operations on castings. Transport castings from storage or previous work center to grinding booths.
Transport completed castings from grinding booth to next manufacturing area or staging area. Inspect condition of grinding wheels, discs, cones and mounted points for potential safety problems and change, as needed. Perform work in process inspection to ensure that casting meets requirements defined by supervisor, inspection and SOP.
Perform timekeeping functions, using timesheets and/or shop floor reporting system. Perform housekeeping functions as required to keep work area safe and orderly.
Level I Math; Level I Reading (Understanding of SOP's, schedules); Level I Writing (Timekeeping, shop floor reporting).
