The Nuclear Core Design Engineer reports to FirstEnergy's corporate office in Akron, Ohio performing all manner of core design and reactor physics support calculations and analyses for all four of the FENOC nuclear units.

The Utility Technician II performs a variety of skilled work to maintain water wells, chemical feeder equipment, pumps, motors, telemetering sensory equipment, treated water storage facilities, water distribution pipelines and related appurtenances, sanitary sewers for the collection of wastewater, pumping equipment for water and wastewater, and water and wastewater treatment plant equipment and operations. Performs difficult technical and mechanical work in the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment and conveyance facilities. May provide direction to peers and subordinates in the performance of routine day-to-day work activities.
Position requires a valid commercial driver's license or the ability to obtain within one year from date of hire, an ADEQ Grade II license in Wastewater Treatment, one year of experience in wastewater treatment and operation and maintenance of treatment facilities, and six months/one year advanced study past the high school equivalency, though additional required experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
