This is supervisory work involved in carrying out a regulatory poultry improvement program established by State-Federal agreement, and other laws and regulations promulgated by the Mississippi Board of Animal Health. The work includes assisting in poultry disease control work and inspection of hatcheries and poultry farms for the entire state of Mississippi to determine compliance with the regulations of the Mississippi Board of Animal Health.
Incumbent is also responsible for regular cooperation with other states, allied industries, public and private industries, on a regular basis as regards such factors as outbreaks of exotic foreign diseases, transportation and sources of infection which could delay program goals and disease eradication. The incumbent formulates, directs, and controls the work in the poultry unit and is subject to the general administrative direction of the State Veterinarian.
Examples of Work:Examples of work performed in this classification include, but are not limited to, the following:
Anticipates serious poultry disease outbreaks and provides organized plan for various important diseases.
Reviews, analyzes, and coordinates on a monthly basis all outbreaks of non-routine poultry diseases occurring in the State for the State Veterinarian's review.
Plans and analyzes surveys, special projects, and special reports to detect significant trends influencing the progress of control and eradication program.
Reviews and evaluates current information as it relates to present control and eradication program activities.
Plans, develops, and coordinates a training program for authorized testing agents and poultry health technicians or servicemen.
Represents the State Veterinarian, the Mississippi Board of Animal Health, and poultry industry in the area of regulatory control of poultry diseases in the State of Mississippi.
Plans, directs, and coordinates the work activities of the poultry disease unit.
Assists in formulating policies, rules, and regulations as necessary.
Provides administrative leadership for all phases of poultry disease programs.
Performs related or similar duties as required or assigned.

Master's degree from an accredited four-year college or university;

Poultry House Person
The Poultry House Person is responsible for working with all aspects of our layers houses to include providing an excellent environment and quality care for our laying hens. Responsible for making sure the chickens have the proper amount of water, feed, proper temperature, clean house, etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for keeping daily UEP records on water, feed, mortality, ventilation and maintenance.
Must work closely with leads, supervisor and maintenance.
Responsible for moving birds and keeping accurate cage population.
Responsible for keeping all feed chains and egg belts in working order.
Responsible for keeping all light bulbs replaced and in working order.
Keeping all catwalks and aisles clean and clear of trip hazards.
To keep all fans, motors and screens clean and protected with shields or guards.
Responsible for doing a daily bird run in your house and the extra house during the weekdays and doing bird runs in two houses on the weekends.
All maintenance and repair work is to be done immediately, if problems arise, contact your lead person or supervisor.

This position is responsible for the building of futures sales demand through a combination of market analysis, statistical modeling projections and collaboration with the entire Planning organization. Responsibilities include:
Working with the Data team to insure historical data is separated into regular repeating orders, regular non-repeating orders (promotions, special orders), and irregular non-repeating orders (samples). Manage the forecast for each product using Manugistics NetWORKS, Demand, and Collaborate; promotions, competitive products, seasonality, retail consumption, customer behavior to ensure the forecasting model parameters are fine-tuned appropriately. Review and manage statistical model exceptions; Determine which outliers are significant, adjust for insufficient history, monitor high-volume product-brands, check for forecast accuracy, and adjust model parameters. Add intelligence to the forecast and manage additional market information:
Include future sales and marketing promotions, account for sales forecast overrides and customer input, and collaborate with sales people to validate all forecast intelligence. Manage new product introductions in the system. Participate in the Demand Review meeting:

Technologies may include SAP S4/HANA, cloud, mobile and other related technologies. Enterprise architects provide the thought leadership, facilitation, analysis and governance of an enterprise's solutions and architecture. In this role, the Enterprise Architect will assist in documenting current state systems landscapes, developing future state strategies and approaches in collaboration with other IT professionals and business subject matter experts.
