Oil & Gas Inspector
The Oil and Gas Inspector is responsible for inspecting crude oil and natural gas production wells, production facilities, seismic operations, pipelines, tank trucks and related UIC Class II and Class V injection wells. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.
Typical FunctionsPerforms compliance inspections of crude oil and natural gas production wells, productionfacilities, seismic operations, pipelines, tank trucks and related UIC Class II and Class Vinjection wells for compliance with commission rules. Performs production tests on gas wells to regulate the volume of gas produced annually. Initiates enforcement actions, concerning drilling, production, transportation, conservation, and pollution control, during the drilling and extraction process.
Witnesses the industry cementing of well-bore surface casing to ensure the protection of underground fresh water supplies from contamination during crude oil and natural gas production activities. Witnesses the industry plugging and abandonment procedures for crude oil and natural gaswells to ensure the protection of underground fresh water supplies and performs investigation of abandoned wells for the state plugging program. Researches and answers questions and complaints from the general public, regarding water well contamination, investigates surface impacts, crude oil, and salt water spills, andother industry related problems.
Provides written inspection reports, researches and writes technical reports for special projects and performs data input on results of inspections. Performs other duties as assigned. Special Job DimensionsFrequent travel within an assigned area is required.
There is frequent possible exposure to explosive and poisonous gas. Twenty-four (24) hour on-call duty is required. Knowledge, Abilities, and SkillsKnowledge of state and federal laws governing oil and gas production facilities.

Minimum Education and/or ExperienceThe formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus five years of experience in the field of oil and gas production or a related area. Preferred QualificationsCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust obtain within one year of employment, certification to witness, supervise, and test oil and gas wells and pipelines that have in their content poisonous Hydrogen Sulfide Gas (H2S). Re-certification is required on an annual basis and includes equipment and classroom training. Must possess a valid Arkansas drivers license.

Positions in this job family are involved in the regulation, inspection and investigation of oil and gas exploration and production facilities and operations. This includes enforcement of state and federal laws and Commission rules through inspections, investigations, and complaint response related to pollution control, environmental protection and production of oil and gas reserves.
The Oil and Gas Field Inspector job family has four levels that are distinguished by the complexity of assignments, the level of expertise required to perform the duties assigned, and the responsibility assigned for providing leadership to others.
This is the leadership level where employees are assigned responsibility for performing and supervising work involving the inspection, investigations, and regulation of oil and gas exploration, production, transportation and waste management operations. Positions are assigned responsibility for the supervision of Field Inspectors, including reviewing and assigning work, providing training and evaluating performance. Some positions may provide direct supervision which includes additional responsibilities for employee development, approving leave and initiating disciplinary actions, as well as performing related administrative functions.
Education and Experience requirements at this level are mandated by statute. 52 O.S. SS 149 (12) (1999 Supplement) states applicants "…shall have four (4) years practical and three (3) years regulatory experience in the production of oil and gas."

Drill Pipe Final Line Inspector
The Final Inspector must be able to interpret results from inspections and communicate these findings effectively and appropriately to production personnel.
The Inspector shall record the number of welded or machined ends inspected and specific non-conformances by categories for daily reporting purposes.
Must be able to accurately read and interpret product drawings to determine acceptance criteria.
Must be able to accurately use measuring equipment (i.e., dial calipers, micrometers, pit gauges, etc.) and interpret results to determine product acceptance.
The primary function of the Final Inspector is to visually inspect the finished, welded or machined assemblies for compliance with the order requirements.
Employee must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
Employee must be able to pass screening exams (math and reading comprehension) with a minimum score of 80% on the math test.
Basic computer skills a must.
Must be able to stand and work in adverse conditions (outside in all types of weather or inside in a manufacturing environment) for a minimum of 8 hours.
Employee must be able to use simple measuring instruments (tape measure, caliper, etc.).
Must be able to do extensive walking, bending, stooping, and moderate to heavy lifting.
Must be able to pass an Industrial Eye exam with near visual acuity within acceptable test parameters

Pipe Designer 6D
The primary focus of the Piping Designer is designing piping systems, general arrangement drawings, flow diagrams and detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for our industrial paint systems and wastewater treatment systems. Designers work closely with our Lead Designers and Project Engineers to satisfy customer requirements and resolve design problems from the initial design to the final release of drawing to the shop floor.
This individual will be drawing piping systems as directed by the Project Engineers.
Designers must be able to calculate flows, loadings, dimensions and weights as determined or instructed. Individuals will be using manufacturers’ literature, selecting equipment components based on workable design, and other engineering data.
Designers will be comparing costs versus designs to determine the most cost effective way to manufacture the equipment.
Designers are required to create a BOM to be used for purchasing, fabrication and shipping.
To be successful in this role the Piping Designer will have:
