Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work within a project based team environment developing websites and web-based software for Baltimore clients
Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including: pre-sales meeting with Customers, requirements gathering, programming and software development and testing
Provide high level technical solutions and work with staff to implement desired architecture. Will serve as SME in back-end programming techniques using PHP, Laravel or other open source technology.
You will work with project managers, front end developers, designers and requirements/QA staff as part of a project team that will interface directly with client representatives for weekly update meetings meetings.
You will work under limited supervision and work on several different projects of moderate to complex difficulty.
10+ years of experience coding/developing/debugging web based application software.
Strong experience with PHP, and relational database such as SQL Server or mySQL is required
Knowledge of PHP frameworks (Laravel) preferred
Must be able to demonstrate understanding of customer plans, problems, processes, and requirements.
Able to meet project deadlines and milestones while producing high quality work.
Must display a superior ability to communicate with co-workers and customers.
Bachelor’ s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred but not required
