This Automated Optical Inspection Operator collaborates directly with the Team Coordinator and Department Manager to ensure the operations of the AOI program adheres to customer standards. This position uses data and statically information to create programs that inspect circuit boards and insures quality is built into all customer products. This position is key to company quality standards and ensures that only quality product leaves the facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) equipment according to standard operating procedures and produce quality products
- Collect WIP and defect data that provides traceability for customer and internal use.
- Accuracy track and maintain required documentation. Including Set-up, operations, inspection, etc.
- Provide real time quality feedback by bringing up defects as they occur to prevent excessive defects from occurring and allow real-time problem solving.
- Manage machine set-up, cleanup, and minor maintenance according to procedures efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and orderly working environment.
- Follow general machine safety procedures.
- Ensure that products meet all customer and regulatory requirements.
- Perform WIP transactions in Vanguard’s software system to assure proper traceability.
- Communicate quality issues to the appropriate team, Manager and Engineer as needed.
- Stop work flow as needed to stop the repeated manufacture of defective products.
- Motivate team and create a positive team working environment.
- Maintain a clean and highly organized area.

- Starting Rate of Pay of $18.03
- Shift Premium of: $0.35 or $0.40
You will receive pay increases in March (contract increase) and July (new hire increase), until you reach the top rate of pay for these positions which is over $22/hr! These are full-time positions with our benefits package starting after 90 calendar days.

In our CNC department you'll have the opportunity to work with four automated machines to execute pre-programed sequences. First, you'll load a large, flat sheet of wood onto the CNC machine then tell the machine which pre-programmed sequence to execute to create custom speaker products for our clients.
We aren't a mass-produced assembly line product so that means no two days at Triad are alike. All our speakers are made to order. Job Description: Summary
Responsible for sampling and inspecting the product during various steps in the process. Control the charting of information gathered and ensure it is in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure and production standards. Initiate Material Review Reports and follow through per Material Review Report process as required.
Sample and inspect the product and record the results on the control charts. May do additional sampling as required by the Material Review Report process.
Operate quality inspection instruments, i.e. Nikon, Pen & Drag.
Perform the required calculations on the control chats and plot the points.
Inform key personnel of any control chat points that are out of the control limits or any trends which are of concern.
Initiate Material Review Reports as required. May be the first responder to any quality issues on the line.
Aid in problem solving of specific manufacturing problems.
Collect and report any data/information requested by the Manufacturing Coach.
Perform additional sampling for engineers, R&D, and other special requests as required.
Conduct miscellaneous check of quality, assembly techniques, and documentation as directed.

Maintain certification on all processes in the department where operating as a PCO.
Participate in the team building concept.
Work overtimes as needed by the department.

Job Description: Summary
Under the supervision and direction of the Production Supervisor, Process Quality Supervisor, and/or Shift Supervisor, this position is responsible for the start-up, operation and shutdown of the process line equipment from the evenflows through the freeze tunnels. They will monitor the operation of said equipment and make changes as required. It will be their responsibility (under the direction of supervisory personnel) to ensure that acceptable product quality levels are attained and maintained. During downtime periods they will set up, monitor, and operate all said equipment in accordance with established cleaning procedures.
Follow all plant safety policies and procedures. Be actively involved in safety, participate in safety programs, engaged in safety activities, perform risk assessments and demonstrate ownership as well as leadership in personal safety and the safety of other team members. Continuously improve to make Safety a Core Value in the plant.
Own equipment activity from Evenflows through Fryers and into freeze tunnels.
Fill, operate, and drain all water systems associated with processing equipment in a manner to maintain levels, maintain quality, maintain equipment reliability, and minimize total water usage.
Implement changes to settings on all processing equipment, as specified by the supervisor, in such a manner to prevent problems with downstream equipment, keep line volume consistent, maintain product integrity and maximize recovery. This would include the optical sorters and LADRES.
Proficiently utilize process control system and maintain a feedback method with supervisors and maintenance to ensure systems function properly and maximize equipment and/or labor efficiency through automation.
Control all processing equipment to maintain sanitary conditions and coordinate/communicate line downtime activities with Sanitation Lead.
Control product waste systems to maintain sanitary conditions within the plant and maximize recovery.
Start, stop, and adjust all processing equipment in sequence for: Cut changes, Equipment problems, Line downtime, Emergency situations, and Shutdowns
Use process control system to monitor equipment efficiency and settings.
Monitor & record waste levels.
Monitor product levels in evenflow bins to keep line volume consistent.
Maintain blend rates to aid in achieving consistent finished quality.
