POSITION SUMMARY / BASIC FUNCTIONS: The Food Runner assists the Lead Line Cook, Food Expeditor and/or Servers in delivering all dishes to a table efficiently while ensuring that the members and guests have everything they ordered and that the dish appears the way the guests expected it.

As a Food Runner you will assist the wait staff, monitor the set up station in the kitchen and deliver food from kitchen to guests table. This role maintains the orderly upkeep of coolers and storage areas and a all assigned food production service areas in an orderly manner in compliance with sanitation and health regulations.
You will assist in table set up and cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, when required. You may assist with other duties as needed, such as welcoming, greeting and seating guests, counting and exchanging soiled linen, polishing glassware or silverware, etc.

What and where is this job?
This is a job in our warehouse located at 610 Phoenix Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48108. At the holiday, our warehouse is open seven days a week and 24 hours a day. It is where we pick and pack orders for our customers. It's where we wrap bread, make gift boxes, cut cheese and cook spiced pecans in our kitchen. We are on the AATA bus route.
What does it take to get hired in our Warehouse?
There are lots of things we are hoping to find in anyone who applies. (We've listed them below.) But there are three musts:
You must be available in October and November from 8am-8pm Monday through Friday, and expect to work three 4-8 hour shifts per week.
You must work in DECEMBER either day shift or night shift:
Day Shift: 10am
- 8pm (Sunday through Friday)
Night Shift: 10pm
- 8am (Saturday through Thursday)
3.You must work these critical six days DECEMBER (based on your shift):
Day: Sundays December 2nd, 9th, 16th. Mondays December 3rd, 10th, 17th.
Night: Saturdays December 1st, 8th, 15th. Sundays December 2nd, 9th, 16th.
What is the pay?
$11.50 per hour.

The Loews Regency San Francisco Hotel is luxury property and is considered among the top hotels in San Francisco along with Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons and the St. Regis. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
