Reno, NV Acupuncturist – Oriental Medicine Doctor/Practitioner – Renown Health The field of integrative medicine reaffirms the importance of relationship between practitioner and patient, focuses on the whole person, is informed by evidence, and makes use of appropriate therapeutic approaches to achieve optimal health and healing. The Acupuncturist will provide acupuncture services to a variety of clients who suffer from conditions that are amenable to treatment with this modality. In addition to direct service delivery in an outpatient setting, the person in this position is also responsible for documenting the services provided, as well as communication with referral sources and other treating providers as needed.
Contractor Responsibilities Clinical Services – Evaluate, determine and provide an appropriate acupuncture and oriental medicine treatment plan for each client. Collaborate with other health care professionals as required. Clinical Documentation – Document all services provided and ensure documentation meets professional standards.
Share treatment information with other treating providers as required. Educational programs – Participate in educational programs, classes, presentations that target health/wellness topics to be offered to clients and team members. Client and Team Member Relations -Interacts with practice and provider staff in a timely and professional manner.
Demonstrates understanding of their role in developing and maintaining an environment that is safe for clients and team members. Education and Training Requirements Formal training in acupuncture and oriental medicine. National and State Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Certification. (NCCAOM) Clinical experience in the practice of acupuncture.
A good understanding of integrative medicine. Working Conditions and Environment Services will be provided in an outpatient clinic setting. A single room will be dedicated for use.
A secondary room will be dedicated for group/community treatment use. The rooms and environment will be relaxing for the patient, i.e. candlelight, incense, music etc. to make sure the environment and atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable for the patient. Compensation OMD/OMP will be compensated at an hourly rate.

Overview The maintenance and repair individual is responsible for repairing and troubleshooting mechanical problems with the manufacturing machines. This may include, but not be limited to replacing parts and/or motors on these machines.
