Responsible for rigging, signaling and connecting structural steel members from aerial lifts or standing on bridge pier caps. Aligning and final bolting of beams and cross-frames. Tasks of the Ironworker also include: Connecting and bolting to torque plates and beams. Erecting shoring towers to support steel beams. Cutting, grinding and welding steel components. A high school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years previous experience as a skilled Ironworker.

Qualified to operate an aerial lift.
Loads, transports, unloads material, tools, equipment and supplies.
May assist in lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
Performs minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment.
Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
Adheres to project specific safety plans and attends JSA and Safety Meetings.
Must be able to work at great heights and in adverse weather conditions.

Description:Experienced engineer responsible for design, procurement, fabrication, and integration of aircraft hydraulics and electrical power systems in support of Advanced Development Programs while reporting to the Labs & Technical Services organization.
