Program Manager - Alfs
Responsible for the introduction and coordination of Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS) assets into the Seahawk Performance Based Logistics (PBL) program. The ALFS PM will complete a thorough technical and supply-chain assessment of the ALFS subsystem, develop and implement a project plan that incorporates the ALFS components into the PBL program meeting overall objectives of Supply Response Time (SRT), stand-up of I-level capability, supportability, and reliability.
The ALFS PM requires a technical background to understand complex technical requirements and operation of the ALFS system and subsystem components and be required to collaborate with the RMS Sourcing organization to perform the ALFS assessment, development and implementation of the ALFS PBL project plan. The ALFS PM will need to be experienced in the on-going data gathering and assessment of system/subsystem Reliability information in order to identify and implement process improvements to drive reduction in Navy Fleet-level demands for ALFS components. The ALFS PM will be required to assess and recommend changes to repair processes to reduce turn-around times. Travel to US Navy Fleet location, Supplier locations (US and Foreign) and other LM PBL locations is required.
Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
Ability to lead program Sustainment and aftermarket teams including EVM and integrated cost, schedule and risk management. Ability to understand and direct technical teams in development and implementation of complex project plans.
Direct customer interfaces on multiple programs required to communicate programmatic and technical status. Understanding of US Navy Aviation maintenance concepts and community and Performance Based Logistics (PBL) concepts. Ability to lead multiple small, agile, complex development and production efforts while performing many different functions is required. Ability to interface with RMS Sourcing and multiple Suppliers and ability to travel on a frequent basis.

Responsible for financial analysis on assigned programs. This includes but is not limited to planning, data extraction, analyzing, and reporting cost information in dollars and hours using the standard manufacturing EV templates for assigned manufacturing projects/programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

3.Ensures that all parts/components removed from an aircraft in work are properly documented by a valid Maintenance Action Form and Job Control Number, ensuring repairable, serviceable, or unserviceable parts are properly tagged and turned in and/or disposed of.
4.Read, interpret, and utilize manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, Maintenance Engineering Directives, Maintenance Requirement Cards, Technical Directives, schematics, drawings, blueprints, charts and other applicable publications to replace, repair, test and modify assigned avionics/electrical systems and components.

This position is for a reliability, maintainability, and testability (RMT) engineer with expertise in analyzing the testability of systems, creating system diagnostics solutions, and developing and optimizing reliability approaches for system of systems, systems, subsystems, and components.
