Verifies and maintains quantities, lot numbers, serial numbers and cycle counts. Completes order transaction billing for daily posting of sales. Completes documentation and records as needed.
Performs daily reporting as needed.
Performs maintenance responsibilities as needed and keeps surrounding area clean, safe and organized. Develops and recommends new methods to improve processes.
Follows and complies with Company policies, standards and practices. May be assigned to specialized packaging such as working in a clean room environment.

Advanced education or skilled training preferred. Must be able to speak, read and write fluently in English.
Requires strong basic math skills. Must be able to work as part of a team.
Candidate must be comfortable working in a factory environment which could involve standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day. Must be able to lift 50 pound containers and palletize 400 pound drums. The environment in the factory can reach extreme heat in the summer.

Packager - Bottling I
Under limited supervision, performs machine operation and production duties following established procedures in the following areas:
Feeds product to conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices, and prepared filled bottles for packing and shipping. Replenishes packaging supplies such as bottles, lids, boxes, shrink wrap or labels. Set up machine with correct lids, bottles, labels and product.

Records information, such as batch code, time, and date packaged. Responsible for correct count, accurate label placement, batch codes and lids for each bottle. Must work from technical data to ensure quality production runs.
May operate lift truck or use hand truck to move or convey product from production area to receiving platforms.
May also keep records on number of items or cartons shipped from the warehouse.
Must contribute to department team incentive goals. Team incentive goals and rewards are based on productivity, in both quantity and quality of work and the accuracy to which the job and/or process is completed. Each team member is dependent upon the contribution level of his/her co-worker.
As part of the production team each employee is required to cross train and demonstrate competency on all essential job functions of the bottling department.

The machine operator works under the direction of the Packaging Supervisor to perform duties as a team member during the packaging and press delivery process. The position is tasked with maintaining all department standards for reliability, productivity, quality and customer service. Duties include the set-up and operation of insert machines, insert hoppers, strapping machines, bottom-wrap machines and stackers.
Also includes stacking bundles of product, loading hoppers on a newspaper inserting machine in a production environment and performing a variety of other packaging duties as assigned. Individual must be able interact effectively in a diverse work force, effectively multitask and work independently with minimum supervision and guide other team members in the absence of the Packaging Supervisor. The position requires basic knowledge of personal computer applications, including Windows, MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Web browsers.
Experience operating material handling equipment, including powered pallet jacks and forklifts, is a plus. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, be able to bend and pick up and lift bundles in weights of up to 25 pounds. Must be able to work varied shifts that includes nights and weekends.

Is responsible for weighing, filling, labeling and sealing of various chemical materials and operating chemical packaging equipment. Responsibilities can include: monitoring the fill equipment during operation, loading/unloading product, assuring product is properly sealed, labeled and quarantined as required, daily cleaning, maintaining fill area and equipment.
The successful candidate will have basic mechanical aptitude and able to operate, changeover, clean and perform minor repairs of chemical packaging equipment. Effective verbal and written communication skills including detail orientation and accuracy in documentation is required.
Knowledge of safety standards is desirable. Candidate must be comfortable working in an environment with hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Previous experience in a chemical environment in preferred.
