Brush Collection Crew Leader
Under general supervision, is responsible for performing skilled and lead work operating a grappler used in the collection of brush and bulky items from public properties. Exercises functional supervision over assigned staff.
Essential Job Functions
Performs responsibilities of crew leader to include assisting supervisor in completion of performance appraisals.
Inspects grappler and completes inspection reports as required.
Drives and operates grappler in a safe manner in accordance with safety rules and traffic laws.
Drives truck and trailer as needed.

This position requires a valid Class "A" CDL Texas Driver's License OR a valid Class "A" CDL driver's license from another state with the ability to obtain a valid Texas Class "A" Commercial Driver's License within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident.

Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the qualified candidate will be responsible for the application of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect exterior and interior surfaces, trimmings, and other building fixtures.
Mix, match, and apply paint, varnish, shellac, enamel, and other finishes according to manufacture directions.
Prepares surfaces for painting by cleaning walls, scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint, priming or sealing surfaces.
Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection.
Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers, using caulking guns or putty knives.
Moves furniture and equipment as necessary.
Remove fixtures such as pictures, doorknobs, lamps, and electric switch covers prior to painting.
Tape off areas when needed.
Apply touch-ups or second coats as needed.
Remove paint splatters when finished.
