Pallet Jack Driver
This position is responsible for operating machinery and maintaining production flow while also maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
These positions are responsible for transporting pallets of products using an electric pallet jack. Must be capable of visually inspecting boxes of product.
Positions require the ability to push pull carry lift 40+ pounds. Must be able to work in damp cold or damp hot environments, use of hands and arms above shoulder level and be able stand 10-12+ hours a day. Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to from the work areas. Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
Positions will be for 2ND shift (nights). This facility may run 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday. Must be willing to walk stand for the duration of the shift.
Must be able to obtain company pallet jack certification. Must be able to read, write and have a good basic knowledge of math. Bending, twisting, turning, and good hand eye coordination is required.

Basic Job Concept:
The Jack Operator is responsible for bringing in product for production, Jack Operator must be motivated and have clear communication skills. Inventory Gatekeeper- (Manual And Electric Pallet Jack)
Inventory Gatekeeper Job Summary:
Finished Goods Gatekeeper is responsible for transporting finished pallets from the production line to the Lantech Machines utilizing an electric pallet jack, handjack or forklift. The Finished Goods Processor must then audit pallets for proper labeling, check pallet quantity and check the WR (work receipt) transactions for accuracy. All information for both areas must then be entered into the computer system using VoCollect or green screen (manual production reporting) in PRMS computer system. The finished goods gatekeeper will be required to learn all aspects of the job to include start-up of shift paperwork and end of shift reconciliation paperwork.
- This associate will be required to support Raw Gatekeeping in receiving. That function requires the transfer of raw product in the system (PRMS) for Production to use in proper rotation by using the IN9850 raw inventory report to direct the flow of raw product up on the lines by the Linefeeder.

To ensure the customer is always serviced first by providing efficient and safe, claim-free handling of freight and receives the type of attention that makes them want to do business with Ward. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pallet Dock Worker Responsibilities:
- Load andunload freight under the direction of the lead dock worker or dock
- Strip trailers and move freight using appropriate freight handling equipment to
appropriate trailers to be loaded according to specifications on manifests or other
- Correctly complete all required paperwork (stripping manifest, stacking report, road
manifest, delivery loading report).
- Properly perform tasks to assure safety and to prevent damage to cargo. Secure

wrap, stack rings and rope, dunnage and cardboard.
- Count and inspect all shipments and make appropriate notations on manifests for

- Fax bills to Central Billing Department on a timely basis and be available to answer
questions that central billers may have about bills.
- Accurately create billing for locals, specialty bills, and those that cannot be faxed for
various reasons so that they are done early enough for dock workers to handle.
- Copy bills of lading for Revenue Accounting as needed and send them in daily so
that customers can be billed promptly with the documentation they require.
- Prepare linehaul manifests to dispatch linehaul drivers. All linehaul driver envelopes
are to include: trailer number, Pro number of one shipment on the trailer, road
driver's name, tractor number, seal number, weight, driving (route) instructions and
any hazardous placards that may be required (if applicable). All linehaul driver
envelopes should contain a copy of the stacking report, road manifest (if available)
and any packing slips that accompany shipments on the trailer.

STATEMENT OF JOB The assembler II carries out the work as scheduled following the production orders assigned each day.
Job duties involve production of a multitude of parts (many of which are low volume production items and are scheduled infrequently). Assembles parts according to drawing or work instructions, checks accuracy of parts against print and verifies correct parts are available for production order.
The employee is expected to work out problems and troubleshoot components or rework components to specifications as prescribed.
He/she will occasionally evaluate repairs, retests, and repacks customer returned products.
Specifically, this position requires the use of judgment to plan and perform work, make decisions as to the sequence of set-ups, operations, processes and quality within the limitations of recognized UL, ISO, and Tyco standards.

Must be able to retain a large volume of product knowledge and manufacturing variations.
The following training is required for this job position.

3-day Safety Training.

To setup and assemble FT switches. This involves assembly of sub-assemblies and finished parts with small components consisting of such items as handles, springs, screws, nuts, covers, housings and switches in accordance with product specification sheets, drawings and methods, schedules, and customer needs.
