EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Job Description Summary:

Ensure that all departing guests have paid parking fee on folio or at booth
Follow daily credit card procedures at the end of each shift
Follow cash control procedures to insure all banks are balanced at the end of each shift.
Work with other parking attendants when needed to expedite traffic and control flow of vehicles at parking entrance.
Report all equipment issues to maintenance department immediately
Report any service issues immediately to the GM, AGM or MOD.
Ensure that all guests pay for parking unless you have been given other information by your immediate supervisor.
Do not let buses park in the upper deck parking lot. All buses must be parked at entrance cut-out.
In the event of any guest issues that call for immediate management attention, radio the front desk for the Manager on Duty.

The Service Rep - Parking Lot Attendant [PLA] provides customer service through packaging and carrying out purchases for customers and support in all aspects of customer service. Responsible for parking vehicles or issuing tickets for guests in a parking lot area. May collect fee.

A high school diploma/GED preferred.
Position requires regular and recurring physical movement such as standing or walking for prolonged periods of time with occasional lifting and/or moving objects up to 40 pounds.
Previous experiences, as a Valet Parking Attendant/Driver is preferred.
Must possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to express oneself in a professional, clear and concise fashion.
One-year previous guest service experience is preferred, with the ability to provide courteous, friendly and efficient service.
Must be able to present a valid driver's license record with no moving violations or traffic citations in the past 5 years.

We can accommodate a variety of schedules, but we are mainly seeking staff who can work 5am-1pm , other hours will be filled accordingly.

The job responsibilities of a lot attendant may vary depending on the location that the employee is scheduled to work. The responsibilities include the following:
o Greeting all patrons to a facility in a polite manner and providing them with assistance or instructions

Parking Lot Attendant
To provide directional assistance to the proper parking location or entrance/exit of the parking lot for Opry House guests. To assist with the coordination of tour guest and tour bus traffic during the loading and unloading of said buses after shows not only in the bus parking area but the guest waiting area. The Parking Attendant is responsible for facilitating customer parking and monitoring parking areas during the 2018 Edgefield Concert on the Lawn series.
