Your core responsibility is to monitor and patrol our parking lots. You are always helpful and courteous to the guests to our parking lots. Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized.
Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary.
Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts.
Park and retrieve automobiles for customers in parking lots, storage garages, or new car lots.
Greet guests and open their car doors.
Calculate parking charges, and collect fees from guests.
Issue ticket stubs, or place numbered tags on windshields, and give guests matching tags for locating parked vehicles.
Lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areas.
Inspect vehicles to detect any damage.
Other tasks assigned by the Parking Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Position requires constant walking and occasional sitting
A high school diploma/GED preferred.
Previous experiences, as a Valet Parking Attendant/Driver is preferred.
Must possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to express oneself in a professional, clear and concise fashion.
One-year previous guest service experience is preferred, with the ability to provide courteous, friendly and efficient service.
Must be able to present a valid driver's license record with no moving violations or traffic citations in the past 5 years.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.

TITLE: PARKING LOT ATTENDANT
REPORTS TO: PROPERTY MANAGER AND MANAGER ON DUTY
FLSA: NON-EXEMPT
The job duties described below are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job classification. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills requiredof this position. All employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.
Description of Position:
The parking attendant is responsible for facilitating customer parking and monitoring parking areas. Duties include, but are not limited to: monitoring the area designated for guest parking; directing customers to the appropriate parking spaces; greeting customers;answering questions; directing people to their destinations within the property; reminding people to be courteous to the surrounding neighborhood residents; escorting guests to vehicle when requested; offer assistance when requested (jumper cables, luggage,etc.); trash patrol; and maintaining excellent customer relations. Above all this position requires a positive attitude and dedication to providing excellent customer service. All McMenamins employees are also expected to keep current on property events, propertyhistory, and McMenamins products. The manager on duty will assign other related duties.
Requirements of the Job:
Previous customer experience preferred but not required
Excellent communication skills
Work well with little or no direct supervision
Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule including days, evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
Essential Job Functions:
Occasional heavy lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs. with the help of a another person as necessary

Parking Lot Attendant
We are seeking Parking Lot Attendants to work in the Springfield area.
We can accommodate a variety of schedules, but we are mainly seeking staff who can work 5am-9am and/or 2pm -9pm, other hours will be filled accordingly.
We will also be seeking other hours, and can accommodate part time retiree schedules as well as many other situations.
Pay range is $12-$13 an hour to start.

The job responsibilities of a lot attendant may vary depending on the location that the employee is scheduled to work. The responsibilities include the following:
o Greeting all patrons to a facility in a polite manner and providing them with assistance or instructions
o Directing traffic, pointing patrons into parking spots
o Being outside and visible for the duration of a scheduled shift
o Filling out necessary paperwork involved in daily operations
o Providing umbrella service for patrons on rainy days
o Providing security services and contacting police/management in the event of an intrusion
o Escorting patrons to their vehicles
o Recording vehicle counts
o Communicating effectively with customers and coworkers. This includes radio contact with shuttle drivers

The Parking Department has a tremendous amount of responsibility, as well as a tremendous amount of fun! As a parking employee you are who our guests see first; and we all know the importance of first impressions.
