Job Summary:
Assists Foreman and Journeyman while learning the trade.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs duties as described below. Specializes, after completing apprenticeship program, in ventilation and air conditioning, architectural sheet metal work, and air systems.
Qualifications:
Workers should be able to follow specific directions; perform a variety of duties which may often change; work within standards of accuracy; repeat tasks of short duration according to set procedure; evaluate information using measurable standards. Substantial experience of cleaning and maintenance of air duct systems in buildings.
Physically, workers must be able to Stand or walk for long periods; ability to lift 50 + pounds; use arms and hands to reach for, handle and climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and see (naturally or with correction).
Minimum of 1 year duct cleaning field experience.
In-depth knowledge of equipment operations and HVAC maintenance.
Operational knowledge of using manual cleaning tools and powdered cleaning machines.
Familiarity with all applicable safety standards, procedures and polices
Ability to work from heights without fear.
Ability to get to and from jobsites as required.
Ability to interact with colleagues, clines and the public, in a positive manner.
High school diploma preferred but not required and on-the-job training required to attain journeyman status.

Job Description
The Metal Technician is responsible for performing automotive repairs and service in accordance with Lithia, manufacturer and insurance standards. This individual utilizes their skills to repair damage swiftly and accurately. The Metal Technician works together with all Body Shop personnel and management to ensure the satisfaction of our customers.
The Metal Technician reports to the Body Shop Manager.
Essential Functions and Duties
Area of Responsibility
Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia, manufacturer and insurance standards.
Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
Verify that all parts required on a collision repair are accounted for and accurate.
Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
Monitor progress of vehicles in paint shop to determine when they will be ready for final assembly.
Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools to include screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, hammers, chisels and punches, and other tools needed to perform the work for which the technician is trained and not normally inventoried by the service department as "special tools".
Return special tools to proper place.
Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
Ensure that customer's vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
Maintain up-to-date proficiency by attending training on the latest repair techniques and materials.
Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards according to departmental policies. Clean work shirts, creased work trousers, shirts to be tucked in at all times. Belts worn on trousers to be of no buckle design to avoid scratching paint on customer's vehicles.
Arrive at work, take breaks, and depart work at the times designated by management.

Summary:
As a Pattern Maker, you will work collaboratively with the Integrated Product and Production teams to create innovative patterns under the direction of the Design team. You will interpret design intent, create prototype, sample and production patterns, ensuring that methods and documentation are consistent with known factory methods and processes. Work closely with design to establish standard fit by product category and end use to ensure product size and fit consistency.
In collaboration with the designers and the product developers within each category, you will establish and document product construction standards and illustrated technical specifications for the entire product line.
Communicate with design team, sewers, product developers, and factory partners to create strong relationships.
Troubleshoot any potential problems with patterns and fabrics and communicate these with the design and development teams.
Manage flow of information related to fit process (track samples, update tech log, communicate with factory counterparts).
Ability to fit and correct garments in fitting, and translate correction to patterns and comments.
Organized sample and patterns to be easily referenced.
Ensure an accurate garment is developed to meets design's aesthetic.
Be able to communicate verbal and written accurately and in timely manners with other departments, factory and vendors.
Oversee the design from concept through to final production.
Requirements:
5+ years of patternmaking experience.
Proficient in PC application.

We have an opening for a Sheet Metal Worker. You will perform journey-level sheet metal worker duties including fabrication, assembly, installation, maintenance, modification, and related technical support for industrial/commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning duct systems, seismic restraints, flashings/gutters, architectural, and other related fabrications. Operate standard tools of the sheet metal trade such as shears, power brakes, power rolls, and various welding equipment safely and effectively.
Fabricate items associated with a research and development facility (e.g., duct work systems, prototype development, and architectural applications).
Provide minor modifications, alterations, and maintain services to all LLNL facilities and utilities.
Make decisions jointly with coworkers that involve techniques, guidelines, and procedures that are well defined.
Apply good customer service, adhering to timelines.
Prepare standard reports and forms related to Work Orders, as well as data entry.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of apprentice training program and/or equivalent journey-level work experience in the sheet metal trade.
Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools of the trade.
Ability to read blueprints to fabricate and install duct work and other systems.
Experience in detailing layout, fabrication, installing, and welding.
Demonstrated customer service, effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as a team member interfacing well with others and demonstrated effective writing and computer skills necessary to prepare standard reports, enter data and complete timekeeping.
Basic knowledge of ES&H and OSHA laws and regulations.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid California driver license. Ability to become medically qualified to wear respiratory and protection equipment.
Pre-Placement Medical Exam: A job related pre-placement medical examination may be required.
Pre-Employment Drug Test: External applicant(s) selected for this position will be required to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test.
Security Clearance: This position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance.

Overview
APPRENTICE LEVEL: The Mfg Apprentice (SM) is an entry level position that to be utilized as a training role for inexperienced employees hired to learn the Sheet Metal Fabrication function.
The goal of the Mfg Apprentice will be to learn to basic Sheet Metal Fabrication to perform Basic SM functions within budgeted time and at "HAECO Americas" standards of quality.MECHANIC I: The Mfg Mechanic I (SM) performs Sheet Metal Fabrication functions within the Engineering Manufacturing area.
Duties include Part Marking, Materials Prep, and Satin Finish Operations to fabricate parts and performing repairs within budgeted time and at HAECO standards of quality.MECHANIC II:
The Mfg Mechanic II (SM) performs Sheet Metal Fabrication functions within the Engineering Manufacturing area.

Perform typical sheet metal fabrication shop operations including below functions/skills:• Identify metals used for sheet metal fabrication• Hole preparation for fasteners• Understand characteristics of metals used in sheet metal parts fabrication• Develop basic understanding of blueprints and drawings• Develop layout for parts fabrication• Calculate shop mathematics to bend and cut sheet metal• Basic Form metal parts• Basic Hand Brake Machine form parts• Basic Hand form parts• Install and remove fasteners3. Understand and maintain HAECO and customer aircraft maintenance documentation programs4. Use and operate safely all appropriate hand tools and other machinery associated with the SM shop5.
With direction of other experienced machinists, assist with performance of maintenance and/or repairs as appropriate6. Keep own and adjacent work area clean, and perform with other assigned machinist weekly shop clean-upMECHANIC I:1.
Perform lower level Mechanic duties in addition to following duties• Demonstrates ability to understand standard engineering blueprints and drawings.• Demonstrates ability to form trim and seal structural members using aerodynamic smoothing compound.• Ability to Microshave, counterbore and uses various fasteners such as Hi shear rivets, Cherry Max rivets, Rivnuts, Lockbolts, and Jobolts and composilocs.• Ability to identify and use various fasteners correctly.• Demonstrates completion of all PMT Travelers and operations. 2.
Perform work as assigned utilizing routine and/or non-routine work cards and/or service bulletins within estimated or budgeted hours and within FAA and HAECO standards of quality with assistance from more experienced fabricator.3. With direction of other experienced mechanics, assist with performance of maintenance and/or repairs as appropriate.MECHANIC II:1.
Perform lower level Mechanic duties in addition to following duties• Ability to read blueprints and assemble simple assemblies using the correct fasteners.• Demonstrates ability to make simple basic molds and form block to fabricate parts to meet engineering specifications.• Demonstrates ability to correctly bend using bend radius formulas and power brake tools to meet engineering requirements on simple parts.• Demonstrates the correct bending radius along with being dimensionally correct to engineering specifications on simple parts. • Ability to organize and plan with little or no supervision on large assignments.2.

Perform lower level Mechanic duties in addition to following duties• Design and fabricate molds and form blocks to form metal parts to meet engineering blueprints and requirements.• Demonstrates proficiency in forming complex shapes and parts to meet engineering specifications.• Ability to work independently and follow through on large assignments to completion.• Ability to plan and foresee problems, identify alternative solutions and taking actions to limit bottlenecks.• Demonstrated ability to organize paperwork, materials, supplies in order to continue the production flow processes.2.

Qualifications
MINIMUM:1. High School Diploma or equivalent.2.
Must have own tools as required by company tool list.3. Must be able to learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, etc.4. Proficient in use of hand tools such as drill motors, screw gun, die grinder and routers.5.
