Staff Mask Layout Designer
Design, implement, verify and tapeout process test structures and circuits in advanced sub-10nm nodes to enable process technology team early electrical target definition, device characterization and optimization, and early yield learning.
- 5+ years minimum layout design experience in sub-20nm CMOS commercial technologies.
- Must have tool experience using:
- Cadence design suite of tools 5.1.4*, 6.1.*, ic12 (layout+schematic)
- Calibre verification suite (DRC, LVS, ERC, LPE, Softcheck)
- Design Management tools using Synchronicity's DesignSync
- UNIX and script automation.
- Must have relevant test structure design, implementation, verification, assembly and tapeout experience on product testlines. Test structures include, but not limited to, resistors, capacitors, MOSFETs, ring oscillators, matched circuits.
- Able to capture, design, develop and implement process technology test structures and circuits that allow easy re-use, with consistency across various layout styles that allow flexible updates with minimal effort.
- Ensure layout compliance to Design-Of-Experiment (DOE) documentation and intent.
- Work with process team device and module owners to translate DOE documentation to functional error-free layouts with minimal supervision.
- Knowledgeable in layout dependent and parasitic effects.
- Multi-patterning, finfet technology familiarity required.
- Independently perform data prep operations like dummy fill, multi-pattern coloring. Independently debug Calibre verification results with corrections either to layout or schematic in a timely fashion.
- Must be physically present and available on-site in San Diego campus 5 days a week, 8 hours a day.
Experience with foundry technology, internal tools and Microsoft Excel usage a plus. Good knowledge of analog sensitive/critical circuits (matching, symmetry, parasitic IR drop identification). Experience with foundry Cadence techfile, map file setup, ability to use foundry supplied verification decks using Calibre Interactive highly desirable. Able to write concise daily progress reports on goals.
Preferred: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Job Title: Custom Layout/Mask Design
Location: Austin, TX
Experience in handling complete mask design/layout work to support array and digital IP development. Candidate should have complete understanding of the mask design activities needed for any technology node. He/She should able to draw the layout of all types of cells in any type of tool suite ( preferably Cadence) including leaf cells and macro level entities, run all the layout verification checks and complete the milestones related to layout with good quality . Complete understanding of all the layout rules is a must.
Prefer experience with advanced technology nodes ideally 7nm or equivalent.
Good knowledge of DRC/LVS closure and other layout verification tools and methodologies.
Good knowledge of understanding the floorplan at subsystem and full chip level and make decisions for the layout along with the engineer.
Good knowledge of all the physical design flows including placement/floorplan/CTS/power fixes/IRRV and should be able to work closely with the engineer to get the layout to closure.
Experience in taking blocks through tapeout is a must.

POSITION SUMMARY / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Photo Manager reports onboard directly to the Hotel Director and to shore-side Photo Operations Management, this role requires that the candidate oversee the entire photo operation. This includes but is not limited to: guest service, image production, achieving budgeted revenue goals, business planning and analysis, photo laboratory & photo gallery operations, accounting, scheduling, reporting, staff training and development, succession planning, liaising with onboard and shore-side teams, complete environmental compliance, inventory control, marketing and promoting all areas of the photo operation and driving the business forward in accordance with the company's goals.
Create an effective, efficient, staff duty schedule that is fair, balanced and provides the infrastructure to exceed budgeted goals for revenue and guest satisfaction
Ensure image quality is maximized for all events through regular photographer feedback, training and coaching
Ensure customer service is always of the highest level, through monitoring, training, coaching and developing the team, and leading by example.
Take a pro-active role in staff development and training, being able to deliver effective training sessions, and provide regular coaching for all team members to continuously drive revenue and guest satisfaction scores beyond budgeted goals and strengthen the operation
