We are seeking a professional full-time Medical Assistant for our Woodholme office located in Pikesville, MD. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing clinical support to the physicians in the office. This position will work Monday- Friday and the hours will vary from 7:30AM- 5:00PM.
Assistant - MA
- Prepares exam rooms in the clinical area for patient care daily, including stocking of all necessary supplies.
- Escorts patients to exam rooms, taking the required vital signs and obtaining urine specimens; performing dip and automated urinalysis and microscopic preparation and review when indicated.
- Assists physician with the preparation/administration of Lupron, BCG, Eligard, Vantas, Viadur, and Mitomycin; assist/perform with office based procedures (phlebotomy, bladder scan, urethral dilations, catheterization) as requested.
- Triage patient calls for pharmacy requests, test results, medical questions and concerns as directed by the physician; documenting outcomes in EHR.
- Assists in maintenance of all logs and records for OSHA/MOSHA.
- Adheres to and follows sterilization and disinfection practices throughout the facility.
- Adheres to bio-hazardous or “red bag” waste policy and procedure for proper disposal of biomedical waste.

BASIC FUNCTION: Serves as a fiduciary advisor under the M&T Securities unified model to provide an advice-based approach to financial solutions for an assigned book of business. Maintain and build referral channel and develop strong partnerships with Retail branch, Business Banking and Wealth partners to ensure investment needs of current and potential customers in assigned Market and/or branches are met or exceeded. Work with Retail, Business Banking, Community Bank and Wealth through ongoing account reviews and re-evaluation of customer needs.
Deliver a high quality customer service experience during each customer interaction through a complete understanding of sales process, policies and licensing requirements to contribute to the attraction, retention and expansion of client relationships. Ensure accuracy in completing required paperwork to comply with standard procedures, regulatory requirements and firm policies. NATURE AND SCOPE: M&T Securities is a Broker Dealer that provides investments, brokerage and insurance solutions across the Wealth continuum. This position delivers individualized needs-based investment and insurance solutions to clients, primarily in the mass affluent segment of less than $3mm in investible assets.
