This position has overall responsibility for successful development, execution, and start-up of small to medium size capital projects (typically $100k to $2M) at REG manufacturing facilities. Specific responsibilities include development of project justification, scope, schedule, budget, detailed design, equipment and piping specification, equipment procurement, developing contracts, and managing contractors performing the work.
This position will also include some Process Engineering work as required. This would include support and continuous improvement of plant operations, developing and maintaining PSM programs, and preventative maintenance/reliability improvements.
This position requires Project based travel ranging 20%-50% dependent on Project, and could be day or overnight trips
Implement small to medium scale projects related to process or facility improvements
Lead project teams ranging from 3-15 people
Work with plant and project team to develop project justification, scope, schedule, and budget
Lead the project through the FEL (front end loading) engineering process
Develop capital requests
Develop project detailed design documents
Lead project review meetings including process design reviews, 3D model reviews, and PHA/HAZOP safety reviews

Help bridge between the plants, corporate offices, and contractors during capital projects

Education Required: 4 year bachelor's degree - Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering.
Experience Required: 3-10 years project management in a process-related industry, preferably in biodiesel, edible oils, petroleum, petrochemical, ethanol, chemical manufacturing environments.

As the Project Engineer reporting to the Biodiesel Plant Superintendent in Wichita, KS, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the planning and execution of both base and non-base capital projects at the facility. This position is a seasoned Project Engineering professional working independently. Supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets, tracks progress, resolves problems, develops solutions, and forecasts project revenue. Coordinates with other functional organizations. Identifies and addresses project problems, analyzes data gathered, and develops solutions and recommendations to solve problems, meet deadlines and optimize performance.

Forecasts project revenues, monitors costs and re-estimates project costs on a monthly basis to maximize project profitability and ensure business targets are met.

Maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure that established targets are met.
Identifies and addresses project problems and recommends resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Facilitates project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
Oversees and coordinates the administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines.
Liaises between project management and planning, project teams, and line management.
Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
Reviews project and budget status, manages schedules and prepares reports.
Monitors and assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Represents UTC as the primary customer contact for projects.
Directs the work of employees assigned on projects in technical manufacturing and administrative areas.
Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.
Meets program schedules and budgets and maintains the integrated master schedules for project(s).
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.

Noblis ESI is hiring a Project Engineer with a Top Secret SCI clearance to work in Chantilly, VA.
Serve as Technical Lead to the PM/COTR with responsibility for technical knowledge of the assigned groups (e.g. Group Level) and programs/projects. Lead IPT meetings and review process boards to include but not limited to ERBs, CCBs, and PMRs to ensure development contractors are meeting program requirements. Coordinate, generate and review SOWs and Product Change Requests for new requirements and assist the PM/COTR in the evaluation of development contractor proposals. Serve as technical experts in their assigned area. The SETA will support the program manager in multiple areas which include Program Management, acquisition support, analytic support, technical analysis, user requirement management/development and customer outreach and support. The SETA must possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to manage multiple customer requests simultaneously. The SETA will assist in requirements management by translating operations and mission tasks into technical features by working directly with the vendor development team and delivered onto an operational baseline for use by analysts worldwide. Other responsibilities include administrative and technical support to the Government leadership team, internal cross tower coordination, external mission partners and other DoD/IC customers.
Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant experience.
Project and Acquistion Management, with emphasis on Government acquistions (10 years)
Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph
Minimum 10 years' experience working with the DoD and the IC
Experience with systems engineering techniques and documentation. Fundamental understanding of DoD and IC tactics, techniques, and procedures including CONOPS, architectures and cloud-based environments
Well-versed in engineering principles and their application to relvant intelligence and collection technologies. Experience with digital signals processiing is highly desired, as well as software design and coding (particularly in XMidas, Python and C++.)
Advanced skills in writing, reviewing and editing of technical reports, statements of work, white papers and other technical and programmatic documents
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to summarize and brief senior level Government leaders, civilians and military officers
Familiarity with program management, contractual scheduling, requirements management, testing procedures and general program management activities
Ability to build and present technical briefings and reports with specific knowledge of SIGINT, FISINT Multi-INT and OPIR
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform other duties as assigned
