GDMS operates, maintains, upgrades, and sustains the installed U.S. Radionuclide Particulate and the Radionuclide Noble Gas systems and station infrastructure to support the US monitoring effort as part of the International Monitoring System (IMS). The International Monitoring System (IMS) was established to detect worldwide nuclear weapons tests by an extensive monitoring network that includes seismic, infrasound, hydro-acoustic and radionuclide monitoring stations supporting the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT).
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Manage and execute multimillion dollar recapitalization efforts supporting US government projects
Coordinate and track multiyear construction projects at four OCONUS sites
Track project costs in order to meet budget
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
Track deliverables of the project with internal and external stakeholders
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

The Project Manager has overall responsibility for the successful execution of assigned projects. As Project Manager, you will lead multi-functional teams across divisions and disciplines to evaluate Part Policies and Inventory Practices to optimize OPACC-C and parts availability. ABOUT THE POSITION:
