Serves as a supervisory wildland firefighter on a wildland fire engine, performing and supervising crews performing wildland firefighting work, i.e., wildland fire suppression and control activities including suppression, preparedness, prevention, monitoring, hazardous fuels reduction, and prescribed burning. Directs the operation of a wildland fire engine, ensuring the correct positioning, proper use and operation.
Provides technical and administrative supervision to wildland fire engine crews. Plans work, sets and adjusts short term priorities, prepares schedules for completion of work, and assigns work to subordinates. Implements formal and informal training programs to comply with policy and regulations.
Responsible for maintenance of specialized equipment used to respond to wildland urban interface/intermix situations, ensure engine is kept in a full state of readiness for emergency fire dispatch, and accomplishes emergency repairs. Will be required to use chainsaws.
Gathers and considers information on weather data, topography, fuel types, and fire behavior during suppression of wildland fire incidents.

Physical Demands: Arduous
- Duties involve rigorous fieldwork requiring above average physical performance, endurance and superior conditioning. Work Environment: The work I primarily performed in forest and range environments in steep terrain where surfaces may be extremely uneven, rocky, covered with vegetation, and in smoky conditions, etc.
Temperatures vary from above 100 degrees F to below freezing. Risks include smoke inhalation, fire entrapment, snake or insect bites and stings, exposure to excessive machinery noise, and falling and rolling material. May be required to live in backcountry camps for extended periods of time.
The work requires that personal protective equipment be worn. Work may require travel by light fixed-wing or rotor-wing aircraft.

The Infusion IV Nurse is responsible for the provision of direct and indirect nursing care to patients/clients receiving home infusion therapy based on a modified primary nursing model; and for the initiation, implementation, and oversight of an individualized nursing plan of care for each assigned Lincare Infusion Services nursing client. This employee may also be responsible for the oversight of Lincare patients receiving pharmacy or enteral products and services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other tasks may be assigned):
Attends work on a regular and predictable basis
Performs all duties in compliance with standards set forth by Lincare Infusion Services, State Regulatory Agencies and Board of Nursing, CDC, OSHA, and CHAP; and practices within the legal boundaries of the licensed scope of practice; and delivers all nursing care as ordered by the physician

Monitors patient response and progress towards therapy goals
Provides pre-discharge patient assessments when appropriate
Communicates individualized patient needs and changes in condition to appropriate members of the home healthcare team including client/care giver, other Professional IV Clinicians, IV Nurse Manager, Clinical Coordinator, Physician(s), Pharmacist(s), alternate healthcare system(s), ancillary Services and/or community services
Acts as a clinical resource to nursing agencies for the pharmacy's patients/clients for problem solving, additional education telephone consultation, and/or in-home visits for problems with pumps, equipment, supplies, and venous access devices
Protects the confidentiality, privacy, and dignity of clients receiving care from Lincare Infusion Services
Completes all required nursing documentation thoroughly and accurately and submits it in a timely manner
Performs 24-hour "On-Call" duties as scheduled to provide 24-hour availability
