Strictly adheres to the Walgreen Co. policy regarding Good Faith Dispensing during all applicable prescription dispensing activities.
Responsible and accountable for registering all related sales on assigned cash register, collects and handles cash as required. Takes customer to OTC aisle when possible to assist in locating products.
Handles telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians.
Processes (corrects and resubmits) manual claims for third party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and performs other clerical duties, as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.
Assists and supports Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as, ordering, unpacking, checking and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals. Maintains knowledge of Company asset protection techniques, and files claims for warehouse overages (merchandise received, but not billed), shortages (merchandise billed, but not received), order errors or damaged goods involving Rx drugs.
May assist pharmacist in administering clinical services including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other clinical services as required; assists pharmacy staff in coordination of clinical services, Walgreens healthcare clinics and external providers.
Assists Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in developing and maintaining good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other health care providers, by medical provider detailing and outreach to health groups, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other forums for enhancing growth opportunities.
Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring the Pharmacy Department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat and orderly in condition and appearance.
Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Training & Personal Development
Earns and maintains PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration. Otherwise, earns PTCB certification as condition of promotion to senior technician.

The Sales Representative's (RSR) primary function is to maximize sales of Nestlé products at various customer sites and provide excellent customer service through safe and effective planning, selling, ordering, and in store servicing while demonstrating sound safety practices. Identify and act on selling opportunities, utilize problem solving techniques to respond to competitor activities, maintain/increase space, participate in store resets when necessary, make secondary placements, gain extra displays, use Point of Sale, make effective sales presentations and effective use of sales data.
To drive new sales and maximize customer relations: establish and maintain rapport with key store individuals, communicate to customers or manager about service matters, adhere to route schedule (Deliver, Merchandise and Order, also known as "DMO"), properly order authorized product, maintain proper inventory, set stores to schematic and ensure proper display, rotation and pricing or all products, manage out of stocks, replace outdated or damaged product, execute promotional displays, maintain company owned equipment, and properly handle paperwork.
Follow operational standard procedures that outline route schedules, merchandising principles, filling frozen shelves with product, rotating product regularly, and front facing product. Responsible for timely product deliveries and coordination with back room receivers and store personnel.
Communicate directly with co-workers on issues, specifically Merchandisers, openly share ideas with others, encourage performance in others, give feedback when needed, and train new employees when applicable.
Demonstrate Decision Driving skills including, but not limited to, proper following distance, proper eye lead, proper stopping distance, checking intersections, using safety wedge, proper use of horn, left/ right turn execution, seat belt use, checking and scanning mirrors, maintaining proper speed, proper lane observance, parking in appropriate locations and avoiding backing-up. Incumbent must be in compliance with DOT standards and follow all DOT policies and processes. Keep a clean and orderly cab and trailer.
Conduct activities in a safe manner, follow corporate safety guidelines and requirements (no cell phones while driving, pre-trip/ post-trip inspections, proper bending, etc.), use personal protective equipment, proactively address any unsafe conditions observed and lock vehicle.
Attend monthly district meetings, participate in daily meetings with management and prepare necessary documentation as required.
Drive company provided vehicle to customers on an assigned route to drive revenue growth by maximizing sales strategy to grow brand/product revenue, market share, and profit.

The Lead Sales Associate helps maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. As a new Pharmacy Technician, you are required to complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program as well as satisfy all registration, licensing and certification requirements according to your State's Board of Pharmacy guidelines. Your Pharmacy Technician duties will be restricted by your manager at first until you complete all necessary requirements. Once you satisfy all requirements and expand your Pharmacy Technician duties, you have the opportunity to continue to build your clinical, technical and insurance knowledge and expertise by leveraging available tools and training to build your pharmacy career.

Merchandise Ops Leader (Department Manager)

Responsible for assisting the Store Leader in achieving the store's budgeted sales and profit goals. Ensure that all merchandise is accurately received, priced, stocked and backroom is maintained per OSE standards.
Ensures 100% pricing accuracy, including verifying all pricing labels are up and are accurate with regard to correct price and current offer date.
Facilitates the unloading and stocking of merchandise according to operational guidelines and OSE standards.
Ensures that the store is well stocked and inventory counts are accurate.
In partnership with Store Leader, ensures staffing levels are appropriate for receiving and processing stock.
Ensures that the backroom and equipment is organized and clean per OSE standards.
Prioritizes merchandise moving to sales floor and areas to be stocked, including POG and end cap sets
Perform routine housekeeping tasks to maintain the stores appearance and meet OSE standards.
Ensures highest productivity levels are achieved for receiving, processing and stocking.
Trains and develops partners on proper receiving, processing and stocking procedures, WMR and food rotation practices according to Petco standards.
Abides by and enforces all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to those designed to minimize shrink.
Adhere to and promote established safety procedures.
Ensures the facilitation and accuracy/integrity of the Blue Dot program.
Ensure that unforgivable items are in stock at all times.
Directly supervises the Merchandise Operations Specialists. Leads and coaches all store partners in providing great guest service and performing their assigned task with the objective of achieving budgeted sales.
Ensures RTV and Hazardous Waste processed are managed per Petco policy.
Communicate all situations and/or conditions that affect the store to the Guest Experience Leader and/or Store Leader (e.g. guest complaints, item requests, inadequate inventory levels).
Perform all special or other projects as assigned and assume responsibility as Leader on Duty (LOD) as needed.
LOD Key Accountabilities:
Provide quick and courteous service to all guests by utilizing the GUEST Model throughout the store.
Ensure OSE standards are maintained throughout the store
Ensure that the store is opened and / or closed in accordance with established P&Ps
Provide training and coaching in GUEST and product knowledge to store partners.
In partnership with the Store Leader and/or Guest Experience Leader ensure proper store scheduling is being maintained to ensure guest service during peak hours.
Adhere to and promote established safety procedures.
Assist the Guest Experience Leader and/or Store Leader in planning out location changes needed to the grid and ad planner to maximize sales.
Directly supervise the Merchandise Operations Specialist. Complete performance evaluations for partners.
The majority of job duties are conducted indoors, although merchandise receiving, merchandise carry-outs, or stock balancing will require leaving the store briefly. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and pull 2000 lbs utilizing material handling equipment. Improper use of safety equipment and/or not following proper lifting techniques may pose of risk of injury to customers, pets, and store partners.
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or its equivalent (GED) is required. Previous experience in retail setting as an inventory leader, department leader, team lead, Merchandise Ops Specialist or store partner. Experience supervising store partners, or demonstrating an aptitude for training, motivation and sales techniques, analytical abilities as well as a professional appearance and demeanor.
