Health Policy Manager/Director, Public Policy Institute (PPI)*, will be responsible for initiating and leading research and analysis for a portfolio of public policy issues. A strong knowledge of and specific work experience in Medicare Advantage is required. Knowledge of and experience in broader policy issues including: health care costs, affordability, prescription drug costs and access, insurance coverage and benefit design, quality of care, and provider collaboration is desired. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Maintains a portfolio of public policy research areas focused on Medicare Advantage and Part D, builds the PPI’s research agenda in these areas, and manages related components of the PPI’s strategic and operational plan including risk adjustment, star ratings and other MA payment policies.
Builds a portfolio of public policy research and analysis to support enterprise thought leadership on issues including: health care costs, affordability, prescription drug costs and access, provider collaboration, consumer engagement, and quality of care.
Fosters relationships with Public Affairs staff, business leaders, and Anthem SMEs to ensure that the PPI’s research agenda supports enterprise goals and reflects and leverages enterprise resources and expertise.
Conceptualizes and conducts research and analysis and writes white papers and issue briefs that support enterprise objectives, business strategy, and policy development.

This role is full-time / 100% commission / W-2 with benefits where 1styear earnings avg between $45K – $80K and top performers up to 90k+! The majority of our Sales Reps visit the local sales office one time per week. On the remaining days, they receive their scheduled appointments via email and go to those appointments from their home. This position offers excellent compensation opportunities, pre-confirmed and pre-set appointments with customers! All of our Sales Project Consultant positions require extensive local market area travel with the use of a personal vehicle to travel to appointments.
Must have valid driver’s license and carry required level of automobile insurance.
This position requires the ability to lift sample cases of selected home improvement products. The sample cases individually do not exceed 40lbs, depending on the product sample case weight can range from 5lbs to 40lbs.
Must be computer proficient.
Must have the ability to work a 5 day work week, which includes Saturdays. Additional days may be required based on volume and seasonality, in addition to the flexibility to work afternoon, evening and weekend hours.
Ability to negotiate contracts and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Candidate must have excellent customer service, listening and influencing skills and have a passion for improving the lives of our customers.
