- They have multiple locations throughout the Chicago area and across the US.This role is located in the western suburbs plant.
- This facility is over 1 million square feet and is full automated with brand new equipment including: high-speed packaging, ovens, blast freezers, mixers, blenders, conveyors, robotics, palletizers and similar
- Our client is expanding and is adding 2 Maintenance Mechanics, one on 1st shift and one on 3rdshift
- Meet plant objectives in safety, quality, cost and customer care
- Run projects to ensure equipment is running properly
- Provide technical support for efficient troubleshooting / problem solving activities and maintenance repair to maximize efficiencies and limit downtime
- Maintain and repair all equipment in operation which includes pumps, motors, conveyors, presses, processing equipment, PLCs, VFDs, robotics, palletizers, case erectors and much more
- Troubleshoot PLCs
- Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical issues
- Pipefitting, and other general maintenance duties
- Prefer Associates or other technical discipline or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Must have 3+ years of maintenance manufacturing experience required. Open to any industry as long as its manufacturing
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Experience with mechanical, hydraulics, pipefitting and pneumatics
- Able to troubleshoot PLCs, servos and VFDs is a plus
- Experience with fabrication or welding is desired
- Self-motivated, positive attitude, moldable, energetic and punctual
