Part-Time Awake Overnight Counselor - Litchfield (Southbridge)
The Litchfield program is a residential program for men and women with serious mental health challenges who need intensive rehabilitative support and comprehensive day programming. The program offers Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Peer Support and utilizes Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) and Supported Employment as the treatment models.
Awake overnight counselors provide support to individuals who live in the program.
Overnight staff must have the ability to remain awake and alert during the overnight shift.
Awake overnight counselors are responsible for providing a safe, secure environment for the individuals that services are provided for. Awake overnights may do some basic housekeeping, filing, medication counts, and administer medications. Awake overnights need to be alert and able to respond to any issues that may arise.
Bachelor's degree in Social Services related field preferred, and/or experience or internship with adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses and/or dual diagnoses. Eligible candidates must be at least 21 years of age with a current, valid driver's license and a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
Eligible candidate must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word. Candidate must be CPR/First Aid and MAP (Medication Administration) certified or certifiable.

Working with the local HR Business Partners you will support the line managers and improve the delivery of all employee relations issues and general HR queries.
