CT Community Support Provider
Our Community Support Provider team members support people with developmental disabilities in their homes and in their communities throughout central and western CT. Job duties typically this consists of coaching daily living skills, supporting people with behavioral or physical challenges, and fostering increased independence. All of this is achieved while accompanying people as they pursue their normal daily activities. This might include everyday activities like spending time at home, cooking dinner, talking with friends, shopping, going to the movies, attending medical appointments and all of the other daily living activities that most people engage in. Available shifts include weekdays and/or weekends, part time or full time, 2nd or 3rd (awake).Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a high school diploma or GED certificate.
Must possess a driving record that is acceptable by the agency's insurance company.
Must have valid liability insurance on personal vehicle that may be used in emergencies while at work.
Must be able to pass rigorous criminal background check and abuse registry checks.
