Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Specialists - Seasonal is responsible for non-systems duties such as delivering supplies/materials to offices, basic maintenance repairs and assisting with annual set up/closing of offices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform basic building maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, minor low voltage electrical work and repairing broken items. If the task is complex and requires a certified technician to complete the repair, the District Operations Coordinator (DOC) will be notified.
Delivery, transfer and basic set up of office technology (i.e., hardware setup).
Delivers supplies and materials to and from tax offices.
Assist with the annual set up and closing of seasonal tax offices including setting office to planogram, ensuring offices cleanliness and office meets overall brand standards.
Attend training required for the position.
Confirm that the office is properly secured when leaving the office after hours.
Other duties as assigned by the District Operations Coordinator, or in partnership with other managerial staff.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

JOB SUMMARY:

JOB SUMMARY
Provide technical PC, peripherals, and network support to multiple districts in accordance with CSC and Market or Regional guidelines. Serve as liaison between business partners and Lead FST or CSM to identify and resolve problems.

Coordinate the setup, shutdown and support of PC hardware and software for H&R Block's field offices in compliance with instructions provided by CSC

Overview
Obtains and verifies demographic and financial information during the registration process to ensure the correct patient has been registered, pre-certification requirements have been met and signatures obtained on all associated paperwork. When registration functions are completed with accuracy this helps ensure patient safety through appropriate identification, maximum reimbursement for hospital charges and compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
Interview patient/family member to obtain accurate demographic and financial data during the registration process. Obtain signatures on all forms pertinent to the patient's current visit from the patient or family member who has authority to sign on behalf of the patient.
Answer questions about the registration process and provides information as needed. Obtain and accurately document pre-certification or other necessary authorizations using established departmental insurance guidelines to ensure maximum financial reimbursement. Ensure that medical necessity has been established (for Medicare outpatients) or that the patient signs waiver for non-covered services.
Photo-copy & scan insurance cards and driver's licenses. Ensure that outpatients are directed / escorted to their destination(s) in a timely manner. Audits work on a daily basis for accuracy and makes corrections in a timely manner.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent. Previous experience in a medical setting desirable.
Working knowledge of medical terminology and third party payer is helpful. Typing skills 40-wpm or keyboard equivalent. Accurate data entry and spelling accuracy required.
Previous customer service experience desirable. Medical Terminology preferred. Patient Access Certificate preferred.
