Oracle Data Migration Specialist
The RRSM project will result in a solution that will address the business transformation of three core business functions and the development of a modern, web-based application and reporting system for Homes and Community Renewal’s Office of Rent Administration (ORA), the Tenant Protection Unit (TPU, and the General Counsel’s office.
Perform all stages of data migration from data analysis to pre go-live validations, user acceptance testing, user sign-off, cut-over planning and post go-live validations.
Interact with legacy business users to understand business process flow, business logics and to assess major data objects, data volume for data migration.
Develop logical and physical data model for OLTP system.
Design, develop and maintain data migration programs and manage migration tools using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and T-SQL.
Develop data quality reports for the business to identify and drive data cleansing and remediation efforts.
Writing T-SQL for data validation and post conversion reports.
Develop complex queries using T-SQL.
Document data extraction, mapping, cleansing and migration processes.

This project will automate the 3209-form produced from Welfare Management System (WMS) by utilizing an existing solution built by the Human Services Cluster that supported the State Supplemental Program (SSP). The 3209 form, a large four-part document with nine numbered sections and over 200 data fields, is used to provide an internal control tool to support supervisory authorization of all non-services transactions in WMS and to maintain an audit trail of case authorizations.
