Environmental Compliance Manager (California Rail Builders)
California Rail Builders, LLC is a joint venture of Ferrovial-Agroman US Corp and Griffith Company. The joint venture is a special purpose entity that has come together to build the foundation for high-speed rail service. The project is located within the counties of Tulare and Kern, and the cities of Shafter and Wasco. Major work elements include construction of at-grade, retained fill, and aerial track sections.
The Environmental Compliance Manager is responsible for implementing the projects compliance program:
Oversee the environmental efforts of employees and 3rd party consultants including compliance with all state and federal environmental requirements and applicable environmental laws and standards.
Review environmental submissions for quality and adherence to established standards.
Interface with the project director, scheduling, project managers, engineering manager, construction managers, safety manager, design managers, project control manager, quality manager, other internal and external staff as required.
Provide client contact with the California High-Speed Rail Authority, resources agencies and others for environmental-related issues.
Manage environmental staff, scope, schedule and budget and ensure that the quality control procedures are followed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor's degree in biology, environmental science, engineering or other related field.
Experience requires California regulatory environment.
12 years minimum experience managing environmental compliance in a construction or engineering environmental role.
Environmental compliance related experience includes biological or cultural with regulatory permitting, hazardous materials in waste and water quality.

Warehouse Order Selector
The Selector selects cases and other containers of food and non-foods products to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems. Items are placed on pallets and completed orders are moved to the loading dock staging area with an electric pallet jack / forklift, wrapped, labeled and readied for shipment in a timely manner observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.
Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines. Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
Review work schedule, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations. Perform a safety check on pallet jack / forklift to be used and insure that all other safety devices are functioning properly. Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along assigned multi-level racks and locate products according to order sheets.
Manually place the appropriate stock items on pallet from pick slots and racks as required. Use single and/or double pallets as directed.
Transport completed palletized customer order to shipping dock staging area. May be required to shrink-wrap pallet for staging.
Perform general housekeeping duties and keep warehouse area, loading dock and trailers clear and clean as required.
Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, or attach re-charger and complete vehicle inspection checklist. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Shift is a 4/10, Start times vary....Sun 6am /Mon 10am / Wed 6am /Thurs 10am schedule.
