OWNER OPERATOR INSURANCE:
Required by Marten Transport, Ltd. $1,000,000 minimum.
Required on the truck.
Marten can assist you to get insurance through Protective if needed.
Physical Damage Insurance .3491/$100 value/per month ($174.55monthly premium based on $50,000)
Occupational Accident Insurance required. $120/month
Owner Operators are not covered by Marten’s Worker’s Compensation Policy.
Marten Transport, Ltd. will provide the option to purchase physical damage and bobtail insurance and will provide liability and cargo insurance at no cost; however, the deductible (up to the stated amount) is the responsibility of the driver and may be taken through payroll deductions.
Automobile Liability: $1,500 deductible per accident/incident to cover other party damages.
Trailer Damage: $1,000 deductible per accident/incident to cover damages to Marten Transport, Ltd. equipment.
Cargo: $1,000 deductible per accident/incident to cover cargo damaged in an accident.
Total exposure per accident/incident is $3,500 plus deductible paid to own insurance company on tractor. OWNER OPERATORS ARE HELD LIABLE FOR 100% OF REPAIR COST FOR TOPPED TRAILERS.
Trailer Top Insurance – $10/month.
Deductible Buy- back-buys your $2,500 deductible down to $500 $27.00 per month
Gap insurance – buys the gap between residual and market value $29.00 per month
Molding/Process Technician - Custom Injection Molding - Graveyard
Performs set-ups and advanced adjustments to Injection Molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Starts Pilot Orders as directed and follows up with complete documentation of run.
Set-up tooling in machines. Ensures work stations have proper ergonomics and are safe, tidy and organized.
Enter molding parameters into press properly. Adjust for proper barrel temperature settings.
Check for proper material and dryer temperature & times. Verify dryer and all loading equipment is contamination free.
Provide any auxiliary equipment (drill presses, cooling fixtures, milling fixtures, arbor presses, etc.).
Attach end of arm tooling. Make adjustments to robot to properly remove part from press. Load robot programs and program robots, as assigned.
Remove tool when job is completed and follow tool removal procedures. Return tool to proper location.
Perform minor machine maintenance (screw tear-downs and cleaning, cleaning of the barrel, etc.).
Complete required documentation. Maintain accurate documentation of process parameters during entire shift.
Perform preventative maintenance on molds.
Properly complete tool write-ups for mold repairs.
Clean and perform preventive maintenance on assigned presses.
Enter run information into machine.
Monitor press, part quality and quantity. Troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments and prepare proper documentation. Investigate cause and effect. Document root cause and develop corrective action.
Keep technician area, carts, and auxiliary equipment clean and organized.
Make suggestions on how to improve processes.
Communicate with appropriate staff and incoming/outgoing technicians regarding production information and/or issues.
Start up presses; establish and document process. Perform new tool start up with engineering department.
Conduct Scientific Molding studies and implement changes for desired results.
Write up engineering requests, as needed.
Assist in training new technicians and other staff, as assigned.
Perform machine operator duties as needed.
Keep area clean and neat for next shift.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be able to read, understand and verbally communicate work instructions.
Must be able to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Must be able to lift, reach and pull 55 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally.
Must be able to stand for long (at least 8) hours.
Must have advanced knowledge of material drying, blending and mixing requirements.
Must have good hand tool skills and mechanical ability.
Must have basic tools required for the job.
Must have basic reading, writing, math, and communication skills, as well as advanced problem solving skills.
Must have minimum 24 months experience as a Mold Technician or equivalent experience.
Must be able to obtain certification on required equipment such as forklift, crane & pallet jack.
Must be able to perform root cause analysis and Scientific Molding principals.
Candidates must be able to work Graveyard shift
Pay is dependent on experience. Duties include supervising production operations for the facility. Staffing, training, evaluating and developing team members. Ensuring the quality and accuracy of production operations, including documentation. Scheduling production team members to meet the demands of the facility, within budgeted headcount. Overseeing cleaning and sanitation of production areas.Schedule
Shift start: 6:00AM or 2:00PM or 10:00PM
Shift length: 9 - 10 hours

Driver - Tank Truck Driver, Fuel Delivery - CDL
The Tank Truck Fuel Driver reports directly to the Fuel Sales Coordinator. The Tank Truck Fuel Driver is charged with delivering fuel to meet customer demands. The Tank Truck Fuel Driver is also responsible for maintaining and operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner. The Tank Truck Fuel Drivers decisions and actions must reflect the company's desires to provide exceptional customer service and comply with all environmental and safety regulations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates equipment engaged in the delivery of bulk fuel products to company and customer locations in a safe and efficient manner.
Carries out scheduled keep-full and will-call deliveries and performs deliveries in a safe and efficient manner.
Performs all required company and regulatory agency vehicle inspections prior to and following each assigned shift.
Prepares and distributes required vehicle inspection forms in accordance with DOT requirements, and prepares and maintains all required forms.
Properly handles all Bill of Ladings, Invoices, Chain of Custody Forms, etc when accepting transferring or otherwise handling products.
Preserves a safe work environment by maintaining equipment in a clean and orderly manner and in good mechanical condition.
