Posting Department Cardiac Cath Lab Posting Department Description The Heart Center has 3 Cardiac Catheterization Labs and a Hybrid Suite.
We have 29 beds in prep/recovery. We provide services to both outpatients and inpatients. In the Cardiac Catheterization Lab we do Cardiac Diagnostic angiograms, Cardiac Interventions (PTCA, Stent, Atherectomy, Thrombectomies, Impella), Peripheral Diagnostic angiograms, Peripheral Interventions (PTA, Carotid Stents, Renal Stents, any other peripheral vascular stents, Atherectomy, Thrombectomies), and Implants (BIV, AICD, Pacer, Loop recorders). We also have an Electrophysiology Program performing diagnostic and cardiac ablations.
We currently have a very successful STEMI door-to-balloon program. We will be starting our TAVR program in 2014. Currently we have an active research team with patients be enrolled into these studies.

We do support a variety of critical non-titrated drips on this unit. There are 36 telemetry available for patients and are monitored by the USR's on the department.
