This position provides the unique opportunity to learn and work within cutting edge digital formats and platforms of content marketing. It also provides an opportunity to help shape campaigns, messaging and strategy with clients, rather than simply cranking out copy.
MORE ABOUT US
The Content4Demand team guides B2B firms from concept to contract by tying their unique selling propositions to topics, titles and formats that are compelling, relevant and engaging to target buyers. We work with more than 100 different clients ranging from Fortune 500 brands to venture-backed start-ups.
If the title wasn’t descriptive enough:
This is high-profile contract opportunity to work directly with some of the best, most innovative B2B brands in the world. As a Content Strategist, you’ll collaborate with marketing leaders in healthcare, IT, financial services, and other verticals, to work on the razor’s edge of B2B marketing technology; custom content strategy, planning and development; and demand generation techniques.
What we need you to do:
- Know the trends: Understand big-picture trends and the unique challenges of B2B buyers. You should also have a basic understanding of Marketing and Sales functions, and how both these teams use content to better connect with these buyers.
- Be creative: Have the creative chops and writing mastery to create a wide variety of projects, such as white papers, eBooks, video scripts and even interactive quizzes.
- Consult for success: Get comfortable with our consulting services, which cover everything from persona development to content creation, delivery, identifying content consumption trends and determining overall campaign effectiveness.
- Build relationships: Be able to have open conversations with clients, understand their goals and challenges, and craft impactful content based on their target audience, goals, brand guidelines and other criteria.
- Whip out the red pen: Manage, revise and edit content crafted by our freelance contributors based on client feedback.
- Practice what we preach: Work closely with account managers, designers and other editorial team members to establish and maintain content quality standards.
What we need you to have:
- At least five years of B2B content creation, editing or marketing experience.
- Comfort and experience working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, small-team business environments where everyone plays a vital role and wears a variety of hats.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Adobe Acrobat.
- Impeccable writing and editing skills, including the ability to work with other writers to improve their skills.
- Experience editing content to align with client style preferences and branding guidelines.
- Experience interviewing subject-matter experts and executives to create content projects.
- Ability to turn content outlines or drafts into finished editorial products quickly and efficiently, while keeping specific client requirements in mind.
- A keen eye for detail — and a willingness to speak up (and talk back!) when a project doesn’t look absolutely perfect.
- Leadership skills, including the ability to assist junior editorial staff, to take the lead on new projects and to suggest ways to improve our team.
- A positive and team-focused attitude.
- The ability to self-start, work independently, take initiative, and self-motivate without direct supervision, ensuring projects are completed with excellence.
- For remote candidates: At least five years of experience working successfully as part of a distributed team.
For extra credit:
- At least seven years of B2B content creation, editing or marketing experience.
- Experience in B2B marketing, including familiarity with B2B lead generation techniques, technology, and terminology.
- Subject-matter expertise in one or more of the following industries: IT used by businesses (cloud applications and services, data analytics, security, eCommerce, CRM, ERP, BPM, SCM, Social Media, etc.) Healthcare, Human Resources, Manufacturing, Financial Services, and Energy/Utilities.
- Experience using project management tools like Basecamp and Slack.
- The opportunity to be part of a growing company at the cutting edge of the digital media industry. You’ll never get bored in our fast-paced, constantly evolving and challenging environment.
- Really cool, smart and talented people. (They're why we placed on lists like Top 15 Places to Work in New Jersey and Inc. 5000’s Fastest Growing Companies.)
- Work/life balance (yes, for real). C4D is a virtual company, so you can work where you choose.

Who is Nestlé Waters? You know us primarily in New Jersey as Poland Springs but we are so much more than that.
Our water brands include Nestlé Pure Life, S. Pellegrino, Perrier and Acqua Panna, as well as 5 other regional spring water brands across the US. Our healthy hydration portfolio keeps New Jerseyans hydrated and on the move.
Our people are one of our biggest elements of our success. We are passionate about customer service, safety and environmental stewardship. It's what makes us tick.
We figure that you knew all of that. Here's some things that you might not have known about us: our ReadyRefresh by Nestlé business is changing how people buy water and tea.
Customers place orders from the comfort of their pajamas on their laptops or phones, and then delicious bottles of water arrive at their doors, delivered by our army of ReadyRefresh Service Representatives (RSRs). We are super passionate about customer service. Each stop that one of our RSRs makes is a chance to delight our customers. Our RSRs develop relationships with the folks who get our products delivered to their homes or small businesses.
Something else you might not know about ReadyRefresh is that we are a fiercely proud group. Not only are we proud to be a part of the Nestle family, we are proud to be leading the way in safety and team work.
We are looking to add to our troop of RSRs. What does that mean to you and what will you need?
You'll need the ability to get a CDL class B license with airbrake endorsement and have a clean driving record.
You need to be able to work in all kinds of weather while working out on your own with limited supervision.
Servicing our customers is hard work, and you will need to be able to climb in and out of the truck and carry product that can weigh up to 45 pounds.
You will get way more than your recommended 10,000 steps in a day, with plenty of water to keep you hydrated during the day.
You must have the ability to obtain a DOT medical card for the purpose of working for Nestle Waters.
Most importantly, you need to have a professional image and demeanor. We'll provide the cool uniform and truck.
Other important stuff to know:
A clean driving record means in the last 3 years, that you've only had 1 license, no driving-related suspension, revocation or cancellation, no disqualifying offenses, no more than 2 moving violations and no reckless driving incidents and in the last 7 years, no major driving offenses including DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL, or at-fault fatal accident.
Must be 21 years of age or older (DOT requirement)
You can see additional details by reading our infographic, found here: https://goo.gl/sIu0Rq.
