Turn your love of the written word into a full-time, marketing communications gig. Our team needs a talented and experienced writer to craft and edit content for our digital platforms and print publications. This role will generate content that supports the university's strategic plan initiatives (visit lynn.edu/strategy). The ideal candidate is a wordsmith and storyteller. The successful applicant will be a highly productive team player ready to give and receive feedback, has never heard a deadline that couldn't be met, and is able to balance multiple projects at once. Preference will be given to candidates with online writing experience, knowledge of content marketing and who have managed publication printing/production.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Collaborate on and complete marketing objectives that help accomplish Lynn's strategic plan.
Produce, edit and proofread content to meet university brand guidelines, university editorial style and Associated Press (AP) style.
Create fresh content and other original work; develop and pitch creative story ideas and campaign concepts. Communicate value props and drive CTAs.
Produce a broad range of strategic, engaging copy customized for all audiences, campaigns and platforms including the website, email, print, video, etc.
Manage projects, including publication and other print production assignments.
Perform online and on-the-ground research for articles, brochures and other content.
Serve as a quality assurance writing technician.
Maintain library of interview/reference materials.
Bachelor's degree; minimum of 5 years professional experience
Must submit a portfolio of writing samples and at least three references
Expert writing, reporting, interviewing and editing skills
Solid conceptual thinking skills
Mastery of Associated Press (AP) style
Proficiency in web content management systems, email marketing tools, Microsoft Word and analytics

Draft, edit, format, and finalize in coordination with Clinical/Regulatory, clinical .protocols/amendments, investigator's brochures, clinical study reports, and sections of IND submission documents. Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat) and the use of templates.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present clinical data.
